Alan Goasdoue wins the GGPoker WSOP Super Circuit Main Event for $2.23 million after outlasting 10,690 entries. Starting the final table short stacked, he stages a comeback to defeat Daniel Vicente and secure a career-defining victory.

Alan Goasdoue delivered a career defining performance on 25 March 2026, winning the GGPoker WSOP Super Circuit Main Event and securing a massive $2,234,319 payday along with a prestigious Circuit ring.

Competing from Morocco, the French professional navigated through a colossal field of 10,690 entries, one of the largest online tournament turnouts of the year.

The GGPoker event featured multiple starting flights, ultimately generating a prize pool of $17.26 million and reinforcing the growing scale of elite online poker festivals.

From Short Stack to Champion Under Pressure

Goasdoue’s path to victory was anything but straightforward. He entered the final table as the second shortest stack with just 22 big blinds, surrounded by opponents holding far deeper stacks and stronger momentum.

Rather than succumbing early, he demonstrated sharp decision making, carefully selecting spots and avoiding unnecessary risks.

As eliminations unfolded at a rapid pace, he gradually rebuilt his stack and repositioned himself as a serious contender. By the time the tournament reached heads up play, the dynamic had completely shifted.

Facing Daniel Vicente in the final duel, Goasdoue carried forward his momentum and composure. The tournament concluded when he made two pair on the final hand, sealing the title and completing one of the most impressive comebacks of the event.

Online Poker’s Expanding Stage

Beyond the individual victory, this result highlights a broader trend in the modern poker ecosystem.
Online events are now delivering prize pools and prestige that rival major live tournaments, without requiring players to travel internationally.

For professionals and serious semi pros, this creates a viable path to high value scores from accessible locations, particularly in online friendly jurisdictions.
Large field tournaments continue to offer one of the most compelling opportunities in poker. A relatively modest buy in can still translate into a seven figure return, though it comes with significant variance and intense competition.

Goasdoue’s triumph is a clear example of how preparation, patience and timing can converge into a single breakthrough moment that reshapes a player’s career trajectory.
