Defending champion Jenny Westerlund from Sweden was eliminated during Day 1a of the 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn Main Event. The tournament features a €1,500 buy-in and €1,000,000 prize pool, drawing 104 total entries with 44 players remaining after the flight.
The 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn Main Event officially kicked off, bringing tournament action to Estonia with a flagship €1,500 buy-in tournament boasting a guaranteed prize pool of €1,000,000.
The opening flight, Day 1a, attracted a field of 104 total entries as players gathered to compete for a share of the seven-figure prize pool.
By the time the final hands of the flight were dealt, only 44 players remained standing to bag chips and advance to the next stage of competition.
Among the early casualties on Day 1a was defending WSOP Circuit Tallinn Main Event champion Jenny Westerlund.
The Swedish pro, who entered the festival seeking back-to-back titles in the Estonian capital, was unable to find momentum during the opening flight and was eliminated before the end of play.
With 44 survivors out of the original 104 starters on Day 1a, the tournament moves forward with a strong contingent of contenders battling for the title and the lion's share of the €1,000,000 prize pool.
