The 57th annual World Series of Poker officially concluded its summer tournament schedule on July 15, 2026. Held at Paris Las Vegas and Horseshoe Las Vegas, the festival featured 51 days of high stakes competition across a slate of 100 live gold bracelet events.
The tournament demonstrated massive growth in global reach, securing over 378 million views across its social media channels.
Ty Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of the WSOP, highlighted the expansion of the poker community beyond the physical walls of the casino floor.
Stewart credited a newly redesigned final table arena, an extensive linear broadcast schedule, and unprecedented digital engagement for bringing the action to new fans worldwide. He also noted anticipation for the Final Nine to battle for the World Championship on ESPN next month.
Players from around the globe traveled to the Las Vegas Strip to compete for poker tournament prizes and gold bracelets. Key milestones from the summer action included:
- Colossal Main Event Field: The $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em World Championship drew 9,208 entrants, creating a massive prize pool as a premier freezeout tournament.
- The New Final Table Arena: The festival unveiled a state-of-the-art Final Table Arena and broadcast environment featuring advanced lighting and large-scale digital displays.
- Historic Broadcast Expansion: Live coverage of the Main Event returned to ESPN, supplemented by a new multi-year broadcast agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery to distribute coverage across HBO Max, Eurosport, and TNT Sports.
- The Final Nine: The final nine players survived the Main Event field to secure their spots at the final table. They will return to Las Vegas from August 3 to 5, 2026, to play down to a champion live on ESPN.
Summer of Superstars: Multiple poker luminaries captured titles. Daniel Negreanu won his eighth WSOP bracelet in Event #76, the $100,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha, taking home over $2.2 million.
Reigning Main Event champion Michael Mizrachi claimed his ninth career bracelet and a $1.35 million prize in Event #70, the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship.

- Event #87 ($1,000 Mystery Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha): Recorded 4,764 entries, becoming the largest Pot-Limit Omaha event in live tournament history.
- Event #72 ($1,000 Mini Main Event): Visualized 12,560 entries, securing its place as the largest Mini Main event in history.
- Major Prizes: 41 prizes of $1 million or more were awarded.
- Prize Pools: 57 events exceeded prize pools of $2 million or more, equaling the record set last year, while 8 events exceeded $10 million or more.
- Global Representation: The playing field featured participants from 149 different countries. The top ten nations by player participation were the United States, Canada, France, Great Britain, Japan, China, Israel, Germany, Brazil, and Mexico.
- Main Event Diversity: The Main Event set a new record with 111 countries represented in its playing field.
- Age Metrics: The oldest participant was Merle Vangieson, born June 28, 1931, while the youngest was Easton Jorgensen, born July 13, 2005.
