Brazil Opens 2026 WSOP Online With Two Major Wins

Brazil has claimed the first bracelet of the 2026 WSOP Online on GGPoker, with Raphael Caixeta winning the $700 7th Annual WSOP Kickoff.

The victory secured Caixeta his first bracelet, along with $207,167 from placement money and bounty prizes. He also received a $30,000 WSOP Paradise Super Main Event package. His result placed Brazil at the top of the series' promotional leaderboards.

The 7th Annual WSOP Kickoff provided a strong opening to the 2026 WSOP Online schedule, attracting 3,607 entrants and creating a prize pool of $2,398,665.

Caixeta emerged from the field as the winner, earning his first WSOP bracelet and the associated financial rewards. His $207,167 haul came from placement money and bounty prizes, while the additional $30,000 WSOP Paradise Super Main Event package added another significant prize to his victory.

Several notable players made the money but did not reach the final table. That group included GGPoker Ambassador Kevin Martin, Niklas Astedt, David Williams, Jessica Tuesl, and Bernhard Binder, the 2025 WSOP Paradise Super Main Event winner.

Brazil also recorded another major victory in the series. Lucas Teixeira Rodrigues won the $300 Gladiators of Poker for $579,752.

The result came alongside Caixeta's bracelet victory as Brazil took the first bracelet event of the 2026 WSOP Online and another significant tournament win.

The 2026 WSOP Online series runs through September 29, with 32 bracelets yet to be awarded. The series therefore continues with further bracelet events on the schedule, including ongoing action following the opening results from the $700 7th Annual WSOP Kickoff and $300 Gladiators of Poker.

Several players will provide livestream coverage during the series. Lex Veldhuis plans to stream his gameplay throughout the 2026 WSOP Online series on Twitch and YouTube.

Kevin Martin will also continue livestreaming his tournament action after securing a cash in the first event.

GGPoker ambassador Daniel Negreanu is also set to livestream his WSOP Online action, although his streams will not begin until later in the series.
