Calvin Anderson won his eighth WSOP bracelet after topping 363 entries in the $777 Lucky 7's online event for $$48,914. Anderson started playing while at Resorts World, later returned home, and defeated "Joedontknowh" after entering heads-up with a huge lead.

Calvin Anderson added another major milestone to his World Series of Poker record on Monday, winning his eighth WSOP bracelet while spending part of the tournament playing slot machines at a Las Vegas casino.

Anderson captured the $777 No-Limit Hold'em Lucky 7's event in WSOP Online on GGPoker for $$48,914.

Playing under the screen name "SethRogan," he defeated a field of 363 entries to become the 12th player in WSOP history to reach eight career bracelets.

The victory also continued a productive stretch for Anderson, who won two bracelets during the 2026 WSOP this past summer. His latest result marked his third bracelet in the past three months and his third career online bracelet.

Anderson's route to bracelet number eight began away from a conventional poker setup. He went to Resorts World on Monday afternoon for a meal and to play slot machines.

While at the Las Vegas Strip resort, Anderson logged into his WSOP Online account and entered the $777 No-Limit Hold'em Lucky 7's event.

As he continued playing slots, Anderson began building a stack in the online tournament. After finishing his slot session, he self-drove home in a Tesla while remaining involved in the bracelet event.

By the time Anderson arrived home, the tournament was approaching the final table. He then switched to his laptop to continue playing.

Nick Palma, who is having his best year ever in poker, also made another deep tournament run.
His bracelet challenge ended in seventh place for $6,987 after he faced Anderson in a hand involving ace-jack against ace-king.

Palma was unable to improve against Anderson's stronger starting hand and was eliminated from the event. Anderson continued accumulating chips as the tournament moved toward its conclusion.

By the start of heads-up play, Anderson controlled nearly all the chips in play. His final opponent, "Joedontknowh," entered heads-up play trailing by nearly 50:1 in chips.

'Joedontknowh' had been the short stack throughout the final table but continued moving up the payouts before eventually securing second place for $36,209.

With such a substantial advantage entering the final stage, Anderson completed the victory and secured the eighth WSOP bracelet of his career.
The result added another online title to Anderson's WSOP record. Anderson now has three career online WSOP bracelets, while his latest victory was also his third bracelet across the past three months following two wins at the 2026 WSOP this summer.

The eight-time bracelet winner has also recorded $8.2 million in live tournament cashes. His Lucky 7's victory placed him among only 12 players in WSOP history to have reached the eight-bracelet mark, completing an unusual tournament run that began while he was playing slot machines at Resorts World and ended with another WSOP title from home.
